Godly Parenting In The Last Days

"As it was in the days of Noah and Lot"- Two families in the end times of their eras. We want to learn the lessons from their families. Do you have shared goals? Do you have a sketch map? Do you have an idea of what you want your family to be like? Is your discipline of your children motivated by love or by frustration? More challengingly, is God at the centre of our parenting? Or is self-centeredness and self-satisfaction (either our own or our children's) at the centre of everything? Because the stark reality is that the world out there is not the same world that your parents grew up in, or the same world that they guided you & I through... The reasoning behind all our parenting is God's purpose; His purpose to fill the earth with His glory. And we're given the opportunity to shine a little of that light that will soon fill the earth. We get to kindle that light in our families. That's the purpose of our parenting.
